CANNOLI SICILIANI WITH RICOTTA CHEESE
One of the most known specialties of Sicilian confectionery. Cannolo consists of a fried and crispy rolled wafer, filled with sheep’s or cow’s ricotta cheese, produced exclusively with local milk.
Born in Sicily in the province of Caltanissetta (but it is of Arab origin), it was appreciated by famous personages such as Marco Tullio Cicerone.
Our kit includes: ready-to-use wafers, ricotta cheese into a sac à poche, grains of Bronte pistachios, candied Sicilian orange peel and slivers of dark chocolate of Modica.
